WEEDSPORT, NY (February 9, 2025) – Weedsport Speedway management officially unveiled The Port’s 2025 schedule on Sunday morning, which features six action packed weekends of action including Empire State Challenge Weekend on July 26-27, featuring the Super DIRTcar Series Modifieds and the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars.
While tickets are already available online for the World of Outlaws Empire State Challenge and SummerFAST, tickets for the remainder of Weedsport’s 2025 calendar will be posted online to the public on Wednesday, February 12 at www.weedsportspeedway.com.
Weedsport Speedway’s fan database members will have early access to tickets, beginning the morning of Monday, February 10. Database members will receive an email on Monday morning, which will give them early access to tickets. Fans that wish to join the fan database can do so at www.weedsportspeedway.com.
Weedsport’s 2025 season opener will feature the Icebreaker 50 for DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds on Sunday, May 4. The Big Blocks will be paired with the DIRTcar Sportsman Series and the Hoosier 600 Sprint Tour to get the season started.
Just three weeks later, the annual Super DIRTcar Series Heroes Remembered 100 will hit the speedway on Sunday, May 25. The stars of the Super DIRTcar Series will circle Weedsport for 100-laps, in search of a $7,500 pay day. The Big Blocks will be joined on May 25 by the DIRTcar Sportsman as well as the CRSA Sprint Car division.
ESS Speedweek returns to Weedsport on Sunday, July 6, with a fantastic fireworks display to end the evening. The ESS Sprint Cars will be paired with the lone stop of the season for the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series at The Port, along with the second and final stop of the year for the Hoosier 600 Sprint Tour.
The Empire State Challenge grows by one day in 2025, as the Super DIRTcar Series Hall of Fame 100 will join the party on Saturday, July 26. The $10,000 to win special for the series will be partnered with the CRSA Sprint Cars and the Empire Street Stocks.
The following night, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars make their only stop of the year in the state of New York for the Empire State Challenge finale on Sunday, July 27. The DIRTcar Big Blocks will join the Outlaws to cap off a can’t miss weekend.
SummerFAST will return to Weedsport this year, opening a lucrative week of racing on Sunday, August 17 for the Super DIRTcar Series. A three division show will see the DIRTcar Sportsman and Mod Lites open a full week of action.
The 2025 season finale will take place on Saturday, September 6 with the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified Cavalcade 100, paying $10,000 to the winner. The night will not only prove to be lucrative for the Big Block Modifieds, but also for the DIRTcar Sportsman, as the Sportsman Classic 75 will be part of the evening,
