WEEDSPORT, NY (November 15, 2024) – Weedsport Speedway is set to return to the Northeast Racing Products Trade Show inside the New York State Fairgrounds Exposition Center on November 22-23. This year, the speedway will partner with Dig Race Products to offer race fans a chance to take on Weedsport Speedway in the Gearbox Driver Experience simulator.
The Gearbox Driver Experience simulator will be in action through both days of the show with fans able to compete for the Dig Race Products “Shock the Clock” award. The driver with the fastest time on each day of the show will earn $100 from Dig Race Products, along with a coveted Weedsport Speedway victory lane check and a one-of-a-kind victory hill hat.
“We’re excited to partner with Dig to present the Gearbox Driver Experience simulator at this year’s Northeast Racing Products Trade Show,” said Weedsport Speedway promoter, Jimmy Phelps. “This simulator experience is a truly unique way to get fans and supporters involved and immersed in what we have happening at the trade show as we look ahead to 2025.”
In a partnership between Weedsport Productions and MARDON PC, the Gearbox Driver Experience simulator is a unique experience that allows two drivers to sit inside competing big block modified chassis’ and test their skills against each other on the dirt.
The competition will end, and the day’s awards will be presented, 30-minutes prior to the show ending each day. Rides in the simulator will be available for $5.
