WEEDSPORT, NY (March 3, 2025) – Weedsport Speedway is set to make a splash at this weekend’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo inside the Center of Progress building on the New York State Fairgrounds as the speedway, kartway and Weedsport Productions team will be on site March 8-9.
This year’s Weedsport booth will be centered around the speedway, which will have 2025 schedule cards available, as well as track merchandise. Fans will also be able to enjoy Zach Payne’s DIRTcar Big Block Modified, the 360 Sprint Car of Zach Sobotka, as well as Emmett Waldron’s DIRTcar Sportsman.
Tickets for the speedway’s upcoming schedule will be available for purchase during show hours this weekend.
Weedsport Kartway will also be a focal point with 2025 schedules on hand, as well as the opportunity for racers to purchase their memberships for the upcoming season. Drivers that purchase memberships during the show will be eligible to win a season pit pass from Jr. Green Clone division sponsor, Dan Kapuscinski Motorsports Promotions. The kartway booth will include the Precision Racing Products No. 22T Slack Elevate chassis to be driven in 2025 by Tanner Emmons.
Weedsport Kartway’s 2024 awards ceremony will also take place on Sunday, March 9, beginning at 1 p.m. in the Annex room of the Center of Progress building.
Weedsport Productions will feature the Gearbox Driver Experience simulator during both days of the Expo. Rides will be available to race fans for just $5, with the weekend’s overall fast timer earning a 1-year subscription to iRacing, courtesy of iRacing.
In a partnership between Weedsport Productions and MARDON PC, the Gearbox Driver Experience simulator is a unique experience that allows two drivers to sit inside competing big block modified chassis’ and test their skills against each other on the dirt.
The 36th edition of the Syracuse Motorsports Expo will take place on March 8-9 inside the Center of Progress building on the New York State Fairgrounds. Adult admission will be $15 per day, or $25 for the weekend. Kids ages 6-12 are $5 with kids 5 and under, FREE.
The show will run on March 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
