WEEDSPORT, NY (July 19, 2019) – A full racing card is set for the annual Hall of Fame 100 on Sunday, July 28 as the DIRTcar Sportsman and Classics on DIRT will join the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds at Weedsport Speedway.
Young Jackson Gill has been the driver to beat in the Sportsman ranks at Weedsport this season, as the driver of the No. 60 has scored top five finishes in each of his starts this season, including his first ever Weedsport victory in the prestigious $2,500 to win Sportsman Classic on July 2.
Kevin Root joins Gill with Top 5 runs in both Sportsman events at Weedsport this year and will factor in as a threat once again on July 28.
Other top flight runners are expected including Connor Cleveland, who finished second once again in the Sportsman Classic, Matt Janczuk, Alan Fink, Matt Guererri, Brandon Ford and more with another trip to Victory Hill on the line.
The Classics on DIRT are excited to return to Weedsport on Hall of Fame Weekend and are expecting a nice turnout.
The Classics on DIRT, a vintage circle track racing club, is dedicated to keeping legendary race cars alive and in action.
Pit gates will open on July 28 at 4 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Racing will start for the evening at 7 p.m.
Reserved seating is $32 with FREE Fan Pit Pass Upgrades available through July 24.
General Admission seating for adults is $28 with kids 11-17 only $12 and kids 10 and under FREE.
Member pit pass admission is $32, non-member is $36.
Reserved camping is still available for $30 per night. General camping is $24 per night.
The Sunday, July 28 Hall of Fame 100 is the culmination of a full weekend of action at Weedsport.
The Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 25 as drivers Danny Johnson, Pat O’Brien and Ray Brown will all be inducted.
On Saturday, July 27, round three of the Performance Manufacturing Super Kart Series at Weedsport Kartway will take place. Action will begin at 2 p.m.
Following the Hall of Fame 100, the DIRTcar Sportsman will next return to Weedsport on Sunday, August 11 for the ESS Legends Reunion.
