WEEDSPORT, NY (September 19, 2019) – As the racing season winds down, Weedsport Speedway and Kartway are still running wide open with Octoberfest at the ‘Port set to take place on September 28-29.
The schedule on Saturday, September 28 will offer something for the entire family, beginning at Noon on speedway property.
The music of Payton Bird and Sean Fried will open the day’s events with kids’ activities opening at 1 p.m. including face painting, balloon twisting, hayrides and touch-a-truck.
At 2 p.m., the Enzian Bavarian Band and dancers will take center stage underneath the CNY Chevy Dealers Pavilion until 6 p.m., with a magic show to take place at 2:30 p.m.
Entertainment on stage will round out from 6-9 p.m. with the music of Hard Promises.
The entire day will offer craft beer and wine specials, authentic German style food and more for the entire family; all while day one racing action takes place at Weedsport Kartway as part of Octoberfest II.
Spectator seating at Weedsport Kartway is FREE, with $5 admission for those 18 and up to enter the Octoberfest midway festivities at the speedway. Those wearing lederhosen or a dirndl will be admitted FREE.
Children 17 and under are FREE.
Those with pit passes at Weedsport Kartway will also receive admission into the speedway’s midway for Octoberfest at no charge.

Sunday’s schedule will see PRO qualifying and main events for the final event of the season at Weedsport Kartway. Action will begin at 11 a.m.
