Weedsport Speedway’s ESS/URC Ultimate Wingless Shootout, which took place on Sunday, June 25, will air nationally on SPEED SPORT and MAVTV on Thursday, July 27 at 7 p.m./10 p.m. ET.

Dave Marcuccilli dominated the Sportsman Classic 75 presented by Industrial Tire of CNY at Weedsport Speedway on Monday evening, becoming the first driver to win the $2,500 Sportsman crown jewel twice.

The 4th annual Sportsman Classic, presented by Industrial Tire of CNY, takes place this Monday, July 3 at 7 p.m. with $2,500 on the line for the 75-lap main event winner at Weedsport Speedway. Thanks to Universal Sales & Accessories, the B-Main winner will also have a chance at bonus cash, with $300 or the 31st feature starting position at stake.

The 5th annual Sportsman Classic, presented by Industrial Tire of CNY, will continue Weedsport Speedway’s schedule of events this Monday, July 3 with green flag racing set for 7 p.m. Initially slated for a 6 p.m. start, officials have decided to bump the program back one hour to allow more time for fans to make their way to the speedway.

The Beyea Custom Headers Sportsman Shootout Series has been waiting over a month to take the green flag at Weedsport Speedway, and they finally did Sunday night with Kevin Ridley leading the green to checkered 25-lap main worth $1,000 presented by Big Dog Country 103.5 FM.

Despite a small passing rain shower early in the evening, Weedsport Speedway finally put together its first event of the season with Mark Smith beating Larry Wight for the $5,000 top prize in the ESS/URC Ultimate Wingless Shootout presented by Big Dog Country 103.5 FM.

Central New York race fans will be served a treat on Sunday at Weedsport Speedway as the ESS and URC will combine for the $5,000 to win Ultimate Wingless Shootout presented by Big Dog Country 103.5 FM, bringing the best 360 Sprint Car racers in the area together for a special non-wing event on the unique 3/8 mile.
