Mother Nature prevailed in Saturday night’s portion of Last Call at the Port Weekend at Weedsport Speedway, with rain and wind forcing officials to postpone Super DIRTcar Series and Upstate Sportsman Alliance events.
The action will resume Sunday, Oct. 25 with grandstands and ticketing opening at noon and racing starting at 1 p.m. Those who present their Saturday tickets will get half price tickets – a $15 cost – for Sunday’s World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and NY6A 600cc Micro Sprints events in addition to the completion of Saturday’s schedule.
Racing will continue with the second of two sportsman consolation races and two big-block modified consolation races followed by the 40-lap Upstate Sportsman Alliance Championship and the Super DIRTcar Series Allways 150. Then, the action will conclude with qualifying events and feature races for the sprint cars and micro sprints.
FAQ’s
- What happens if I purchased a reserved seat for Saturday? Your ticket stub is able to be redeemed on Sunday for the $15 rain out special and you will be given a $5 food coupon to redeem on Sunday. You are welcome to sit in your previous reserved seat. However, if a Sunday reserved seat ticket holder shares that same seat then you will need to move down one row or toward the center.
- What happens if I purchased a 3-day combo ticket and I already have a ticket for Sunday’s race? Thank you for supporting Weedsport Speedway for the 3 days of racing events. Please stop at the ticket booth with your receipt and/or ticket stub, we will cross reference with our bar codes to verify and we will have a $10 food coupon for you.
- What happens to my 50 / 50 ticket? We will roll Saturday’s pot into Sunday’s pot. If we do not have a winning ticket claimed on Sunday, the ticket will be posted publically to claim in case you are not able to return on Sunday.
