Marcuccilli Crowned 2015 Sportsman Champion

With 4 wins and 6 top fives, Dave Marcuccilli all but dominated the 2015 Sportsman division at Weedsport Speedway. The highlight of the Montezuma, NY driver’s 2015 Weedsport Speedway campaign was his first win in the prestigious Sportsman Classic. After a fierce battle with the 2014 Sportsman Classic winner James Michael Freisen, Marcuccilli prevailed, and found himself high atop Victory Hill with the $2,500 dollar winner’s check. Looking ahead to 2016, Marcuccilli hopes to pick up where he left off when the season opens in late May of 2016. Once again,  the Sportsman Division will remain the staple of the Speedway’s schedule, and will take center stage on Monday, July 4^th when the 3^rdannual Sportsman Classic presented by Industrial Tire of CNY hits the track.
