Treat Dad and Grandpa to a Night of Racing at Weedsport on June 18
WEEDSPORT, NY (June 7, 2017) – While mother nature has not been a fan of Weedsport Speedway so far in 2017, The Port is a fan of fathers and grandfathers as they will be greeted with half price admission tickets and VIP suites for Weedsport’s rescheduled Big Block/Small Block Challenge on Sunday, June 18.
This Father’s Day promotion will feature two separate VIP packages as well as general grandstand admission.
Twelve person VIP suites will be available for fathers, and their family, for just $600 featuring climate controlled seating high above the race track along with two cases of cold beverages including beer, soda, and water.
Ten person VIP suites will also be available, with the same accommodations for only $500.
Food can be made available for both packages at an additional cost.

Half price grandstand admission, $10, will also be available for fathers and grandfathers attending the races on June 18 as long as they are accompanied by their children or grandchildren. Modified shoes expected in the pit area on June 18 include Erick Rudolph, Justin Haers, Billy Decker, Gary Tomkins, Max McLaughlin, Peter Britten, and more.
Qualifying heats for the Big Block/Small Block Challenge will be lined up by draw with top qualifiers in the heat races redrawing for feature starting position.
Modifieds competing with a DIRTcar legal Big Block and any NON DIRTcar legal Spec 358 engine must weight 2500lbs.
Those running a DIRTcar legal 358 (must run legal spec intake, exhaust, rev box, and carb) can weigh at 2400lbs.
Gasoline only will be permitted – no methanol.
Competitors must use the DIRTcar Hoosier 300 compound with the option for a 400 right rear compound.
Traditional northeast body rules only. No sail panels allowed.
Raceceiver radios mandatory.
Joining the Big Block/Small Block Challenge will be the opening round of the Beyea Custom Headers Sportsman Shootout Series, as the Sportsman racers begin their battle for the track championship.
