Napa Sportsman Shootout Series Kicks Off June

Spano Container and St. Lawrence Radiology Present Huge Double Header. The newly renovated Weedsport Speedway will be the stage on Sunday, June 5th, as the Northeast’s best Sportsman racers will double down for not one, but two feature events. The evening will kick off at 6:00 PM with the remainder of the held over Last Call Sportsman Championship presented by St. Lawrence Radiology.

Test and Tune Scheduled for this Sunday

Weedsport Speedway will open on Sunday, May 15th for open practice for all divisions. For some the afternoon will provide an opportunity for drivers to shake off the cobwebs and get some laps on their equipment. While for others it could be used to fine tune their setups for an upcoming Weedsport event.

Announcing 2016 Sportsman Shootout Series

Weedsport Speedway is proud to present the 2016 Sportsman Shootout Series. The nine race series featuring the Crate Sportsman Modified division will kick off on Sunday, May 22nd accompanying the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in the second annual Empire State Challenge. The Sportsman Shootout Series competitors headline on June 5th for a series double header and return June 21st along with the World of Outlaw Late Model Series.

Season Opening Sportsman Double Header in 2016

Last Call at the Port Weekend Sportsman action will pick up where it left off in the spring of 2016. The 2016 Sportsman season opener will start with the remaining portion of rain shortened sportsman program. One consultation race will need to be completed to set the field for the holdover portion of the event. At the conclusion of the 40 lap event, qualifying will begin for a second Sportsman show.
