WEEDSPORT, NY (October 21, 2024) – A full weekend of action is set to close the 2024 season at Weedsport Kartway this Saturday and Sunday with thousands of dollars in PRO money and track championships on the line.
Saturday will feature the sixth running of Octoberfest at Weedsport, highlighted by the highest paying PRO Clone 360 main event in track history. The 50-lap Octoberfest 50 for PRO Clone 360 will pay $3,000 to the winner and a total purse of more than $6,500 with $100 to take the green flag in the 20-kart field.
This record-breaking PRO Clone 360 purse is presented by Weedsport Kartway, Pit Stop Convenience Stores, Infinit Technology Solutions, Independent Pizzeria and several lap sponsors including product partners Slack Karts, Burris Racing, Precision Racing Products and JC Specialty. A $150 Best Appearing Kart award will also be handed out by Velez & Son Designs, with $100 from PRP going to the top time trialer.
Joining the PRO main will also be points paying events for the kartway’s eight main divisions including Jr. Red Clone, Jr. Green Clone, Jr. Purple Clone, Jr. Blue Clone, Jr. Unrestricted, Clone Light, Clone Heavy and Clone Super Heavy.
Pit gates will open at 11:30 a.m. on October 26 with hot laps scheduled for 2 p.m. and qualifying at 3 p.m.
The pre-registration entry fee for PRO Clone 360 is $80, with a day of fee of $90.
The Sunday, October 27 event will be the rained out Short Port Shootout, originally scheduled for mid-August. This event will see a 30-lap, $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 main, as well as a $150 to win PRO Clone Super Heavy special and final events for all points divisions.
Pit gates will open on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. with hot laps slated for 11 a.m. and qualifying at noon.
The pre-registration entry fee for PRO Clone 360 on Sunday is $60, with a day of fee of $70. PRO Clone Super Heavy entrants can only register on the day of the event, with a fee of $40.
Pre-registration entry fees for all points classes, all weekend, is only $25 per class. Those registering on the day of will pay $35 per class.
Pre-registration for the entire weekend will close on Thursday, October 24 at 11:59 p.m. Drivers can pre-register via the Kart Pass app or by calling (315) 834-3067.
