WEEDSPORT, NY (June 5, 2024) – Weedsport Speedway will kick off its summer slate on Tuesday, June 11 with the Ferris Commercial Mowers 50 for DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, featuring free admission for students ages 18 and under.
Ferris Commercial Mowers Student Night at The Port will recognize area students with free admission and half-price admission for one accompanying adult.
The Modifieds will take on Weedsport for 50-laps and $5,000 to win with a minimum of $250 to all feature starters. The event will count toward the overall Hoosier Tire Weekly Championship.
Any competing 358 Modifieds must be DIRTcar legal spec heads or the DIRTcar legal W16 option, both weighing in at 2,450 lbs.
Modifieds will utilize timed hot laps with a pill draw to invert heat lineups based on time.
Any cars that fail to make the Ferris Commercial Mowers 50 main event will be given a free pit pass for the July 14 Super DIRTcar Series Hall of Fame 100.
Joining the Modifieds on June 11 will be the Central Region opener for the DIRTcar Sportsman Series.

General admission seating for adults is set at $25 with free admission for everyone ages 18 and under.
Pit admission will be $35 for DIRTcar members and $40 for non-members.
Pit gates will open on June 11 at 4 p.m., followed by grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m., with racing slated for 7 p.m.
